Super Doll Licca-chan

Super Doll Licca-chan was Mia Ikumi's first major work. The manga ran in Nakayoshi magazine, and makes up two full volumes. The series was additionally turned into a 52 episode anime series which is aimed towards a young audience, as well as a movie: Super Doll Licca-chan: Licca-chan Zettai Zetsumei! Doll Knights no Kiseki.

The story follows Rika, a small girl who discovers that she comes from a family who defends Fantasy Kingdom - the birthplace of all fairytales. However, the evil Professor Scarecrow wants the throne for himself. Rika's grandmother gives her three super powered dolls that have aided the family before. These dolls become Doll Knights - Doll Isamu, Doll Izumi, and Doll Licca - and help Rika stop Professor Scarecrow and his creations. A ton of merchandise, and a series of videogames have been made for Licca-chan, including one for Gameboy Color.

Repure

Repure (Ripiyua) is one of Ikumi's newer works. It was serialized in Asuka magazine in late 2004, and comprises of only a single volume. Unlike most of her other stories, Repure was meant to also appeal to a male crowd, as it has more shounen-style qualities. Since the manga release, Repure has been made into a videogame.

Repure's 27-year-old protagonist, Ahl (Aru) has not been able to forget the tragedy of what happened to his sister, Furuuru. She has been transformed into a lifeless doll by the tyrant who controls their world. However, no one can oppose him, because he is protected by an army of "dolls" that do his bidding. One day a young boy falls from the sky and into the main character's arms. For some reason, the boy - Pochi - reminds him a lot of his sister. When Pochi gains consciousness, he is in a vampire-like state and bites Ahl. Ahl is then transformed into a younger version of himself. The two are soon joined by a dark-haired man with a bow who introduces himself as Akito. And so the quest to find Furuuru is underway, but things aren't always what they seem to be, and appearances can change.

Wish The Wish That Surpasses Every Request or Wish is another recent work of Mia Ikumi. The main character bears a striking resemblance to Zakuro Fujiwara. It ran in Nakayoshi.

"In Wish, the story takes place in a school with a haunted mirror. Every night at midnight, a witch girl wearing a sailor suit appears in the mirror and wreaks havoc on the school. It's possible a student is injured by her. The full title translates to something like "The Wish that Surpasses Every Request", so one might assume this ghost can grant wishes."

Koi Kyuu Koi Kyuu (I have heard it called "Love COming") is currently running in Digi Comi magazine.

"There are four (known as of now) main characters: three angels and a human girl. The three angels are little girls of about nine years. One has long blond hair complete with a bow and bares a striking resemblance to Berii... only with Minto's slightly snobbish attitude. Another one has medium length pink hair with strawberries worn in it. She's also been seen with her hair pulled back into a little ponytail, and in braids. The last angel - and seemingly the main one - has light blue hair about the same length as Ichigo's. She has it pulled up into little pigtails with giant green ball-like hair ties (similar to Dejiko from Di Gi Charat). This blue haired angel is somehow connected with the human girl whom she calls 'Shouko-chan'. The angels have been called 'cupids', but I'm assuming that 'guardian angels' would be a pretty fair translation."
