This page provides information on things that were altered or left out of the American dub. ^.-

Some general rules: (1) Chin-grabbing is perverted and evil and should be cut as short as possible, (2) All Japanese text is to be either removed completely or replaced with English lettering, (3) Lip-licking is not permitted. Sorry Kisshu.

Episode 100
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 12

+ When Zoey is asleep, she blurts out that she's a Mew Mew and people make fun of her. In the Japanese version, Ichigo doesn't say this aloud, but worried she did, and the people are discussing Tokyo Mew Mew's TV appearance.
+ The scene of the five girls that appeared during the lunch scene in Japanese, was moved to the transformation near the end. Thus, the whole smirking joke with Ichigo is removed.
+ The cicada was left out in the American dub. Instead, Mark goes into this long explanation of the tree being 100 years old, and that his great-grandfather proposed to his great-grandmother under this tree. They were both immigrants. A few seconds were also cut out of this.
+ Renee delivers a plate to the wrong table. Bridget makes a comment about "maybe she works better off a script" when originally Lettuce said Zakuro's more friendly in front of a camera.
+ Part of the scene with Ryou/Elliott explaining about their mission is cut out of the American version. The scene of the Earth and close-ups of the girls is also removed.
+ Instead of Mint/Corina complaining that Ichigo/Zoey got Zakuro/Renee to be nice to her, she says she's lucky to have gotten advice from someone who knows a lot about romance. Supposedly Renee has been dating for a while in the American dub.
+ All the transformations are spliced together, part of Pudding's attack is added to this for Kiki, and Mint/Corina's transformation is out of order. The scene of the five girls from the TV station (mentioned before) is added here. Originally, the only transformation shown was Ichigo's.
+ Part of the scene where Kish/Dren gets scratched by Ichigo/Zoey is cut out. Also the part where Kish tells Ichigo not to attack the tree because it's toxic.
+ The big one. The entire ending scene is editted. Mark recognizes Zoey in the American dub. His face is editted into a smile and scenes from Japanese episode 13 are used to make it seem like it's okay with him, and Zoey is relieved. [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 101
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 01

+ A few seconds were cut out where Zoey/Ichigo admires the cafe.
+ The entire scene with the bubbles and the cat jumping into Zoey/Ichigo was removed in the English version, along with all flashbacks to it.
+ Zoey doesn't run off after landing on the ground after she falls from the balcony.

+ Elliott's hair is editted to be blond when he swoops down to get Zoey, in the original, his entire body is a black shadow.

+ Zoey/Ichigo's Mew Mew mark (as seen when she falls out of the tree) has been digitally removed.

+ Zoey's tranformation was editted but is more-or-less complete, except she doesn't pose at the end. X-o;

+ The part with her being shocked about her clothing is removed.
+ Elliott/Ryou doesn't grab Zoey/Ichigo's chin like he's supposed to.

Other Notes: On the other hand, this episode was much more accurate to the original script than the "first" episode. They did a good job editting text into the show, and kudos to them for having Mark say "Iriomote Wildcat" and mentioning kendo. [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 102
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 02

+ Ichigo/Zoey's mark was moved down...
+ A few seconds of Zoey talking to Mark, noticing his bruise, and after she drops her stuff was cut out.
+ The clip where Miki/Mickey growls at Mint/Corina was removed.
+ Like with Ichigo/Zoey's transformation, part of the beginning and ending of Mint'Corina's transformation was cut.

Other Notes: They kept R2000 as the original name for the robot. Thank goodness, ofcourse Zoey had to name it right there. =/ Also, Elliott again repeated the terms "Red Data Animals" and "Iriomote Wildcat". This conversation was mostly intact with some of the new vocabulary translated. [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 103
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 03

+ A few seconds of Ichigo/Zoey running is removed.
+ Part of the still after Ichigo/Zoey whines at Mint/Corina for not working is removed, and the following scene of Ichigo sweeping.
+ The "100 KG" is editted off the rock that falls on Ichigo/Zoey's head.
+ When Lettuce/Bridget attacks the second time, her attack is mirrored.
+ The cute little narration where Lettuce/Bridget joins the cafe and everyone is smiling is removed.
+ The close-up of Ichigo/Zoey's eye after Kish/Dren kisses her is removed.
+ Kish/Dren licking his lips is cut. [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 104
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 04

+ The opening was changed into a flashback with borders, part of Ichigo/Zoey walking is cut, and the same cuts with Kish/Dren were made as before.
+ A scene with Kish/Dren and Deep Blue talking is moved, it originally appeared after the classroom scene.
+ The flashback is removed the second time.
+ A shirt clip of Ichigo/Zoey appologizing to Masaya/Mark is removed.
+ The scene of Ichigo/Zoey whining about choosing the haunted house is cut short.
+ A scene of Ichigo/Zoey and Masaya/Mark talking is cut.
+ The flashback of the kiss is cut.
+ Kish/Dren licking his lips is cut.
+ The scene with Kish/Dren grabbing Ichigo/Zoey's chin when she's trapped by the lion Chimera is cut. The following scenes are still there, though.
+ The speech with the three girls is cut.
+ A clip of Mint/Corina and Lettuce/Bridget talking is cut.

Other Notes: Whereas Ichigo was called Mew Ichigo in the Japanese version, here the same equation works. Mew Bridget, Mew Corina, Mew Zoey... [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 105
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 05

+ The scene of Ryou/Elliott drinking water in his room and looking really hot is cut. XP
+ They added a whiteout and borders to the flashback of Masaya/Mark was added during the competition.
+ All the transformations were condensed.

Episode 106
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 06

+ Instead of being a sushi chef, Ichigo/Zoey's father is a samurai movie fanatic. =P
+ Part of Ichigo/Zoey yelling at Mint/Corina in the beginning is cut.
+ The following scene of Ichigo/Zoey whining to Ryou/Elliott about working on a Sunday is cut.
+ Part of Ichigo/Zoey freaking out while talking to Mary McGuire/Miss Rivera is cut out.
+ Like a second of Ichigo/Zoey and Ryou/Elliott dancing with the pink background, bubbles, and roses is cut.

Other Notes: Instead of being a famous pianist from America, Mary McGuire/Miss Rivera speaks Spanish. [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 107
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 07

+ The scene with Kisshu/Dren and Deep Blue is moved to the beginning. Why do all episodes start this way? X-x
+ The "candy" bubble is removed.
+ The page turn was changed to... a different page turn?
+ A shot of the bridge is cut.
+ As expected, Pudding/Kikki's transformation was cut down. The still at the end (white screen) looks weird...
+ Clip of Pudding/Kikki and Ichigo/Zoey fighting Samba is removed.
+ The scene at the end with Pudding/Kikki holding her hand out for a tip is gone.

Other Notes: Some of the clips in the next episode preview are from Episode 03 and 06/106 cuts... O.o; WTC? [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 108
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 08

+ The scene with Ichigo/Zoey hitting herself on the cheek is cut. [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 109
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 09

+ A scrolling scene of the girls at the dinner table in Mint/Corina's house is cut.
+ Pudding/Kiki's antics are cut. =/
+ Corina mentions her father and mother not going to her recitals, in the Japanese version Mint doesn't mention them at all.
+ Some time is trimmed off of Old Lady Ba explaining stuff.
+ Ichigo/Zoey with her parents is cut.
+ In the original, Ichigo was going with Aoyama-kun to the library, here, Zoey and Mark were going to a benefit.
+ A down-scrolling scene of a sign on the side of a building is cut.
+ All scenes with Ichigo/Zoey and Pudding/Kiki chasing after the limo are flipped (backwards).
+ And they forget to flip back a shot of the photograph when they do the above.
+ A scene of the car going through the city cut.
+ They make Bridget say something else, AGAIN, this time she says: "Underwater Surge Attack"

Other Notes: The insert song this episode was GOOD. I actually liked it. The transitions with the transformations are really choppy and distracting, though. >.o [Neko-Tokyo]

Episode 110
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 10

+ Renee talks to people, in the Japanese version she was silent.
+ Kish/Dren talking closeup is cut.
+ All the shots of Zakuro/Renee praying and the church are cut.
+ Ichigo/Zoey worrying before more about the article before Pudding/Kiki brings out the photo is gone.
+ The girls talking about the photograph is cut short.
+ White flash added before Mint/Corina starts rambling about how great Zakuro/Renee is. Originally the other girls were talking.
+ Kish/Dren and Deep Blue talking are moved before scene of bat monster encounter.
+ All the crosses are now transformed into toothpick sticks. x.x
+ The judge is now French.
+ The end of Zakuro/Renee and the judge talking is cut short.
+ Zakuro/Renee and Mint/Corina gray scenes after she tells her to get lost are removed.
+ Keiichiro/Wesley and Ryou/Elliot no longer nod at one another in the cafe.
+ The church is now the "big dark scary old building". WTC? -_-;
+ Shot of Zakuro's cross is cut.
+ Predictably, another transformation is cut down. Go techno-pop.
+ Zakuro/Renee's weapon, like the crosses, is transformed into a stick. This thing should be a baton, not a dagger...

Episode 116
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 17

+ Originally after Ryou/Elliot leaves the cafe, Keiichiro/Wesley suggests maybe he was about to say "I'll protect you no matter what". In the English version, he says Elliot's worried and that Zoey might be on call the next day. Thus, originally Ichigo blushed because she was embarassed, in the dub Zoey blushes because she's flustered that she might have to fight Predacites when she should be on a date with Mark.

Episode 117
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 18

+ Though it was previously believed to be an edit, Ryou/Elliot's outfit was altered in the DVD release of the show to be the black vest (which he had been wearing the previous episode), however, during Pudding/Kiki's deductions about the Blue Knight's true identity, he is still wearing the other outfit which is incorrect.

Episode 119
 Japanese Equivalent: Episode 20

+ At the end in the Japanese version, a vision of both of Pudding/Kikki's mothers appears in the sky.
+ An image song originally played during two parts of this episode.
