Card Captor Sakura (Manga/Anime)
Di Gi Charat (Manga/Anime)
Digi Charat is about an alien cat-girl called, surprise surprise,
DIGI CHARAT, from another planet who comes to earth with her little
sister Petit Charat and her advisor Gema, who looks like a balloon
with an upside-down face. Anyway, they figure to get by on earth
they’ll need to earn a living some how, and so they go to work
at ‘Gamerz’, a store that sells lots of games and related stuff in
Akihabara, the top gaming district of Tokyo, and Digi Charat then
has the nickname of Digiko and Petit Charat as Puchiko. They then
run into another girl, who although she dresses as a bunny girl is
still actually human, called Rabi-en-Rose (or Usada, but she
absolutley HATES it when you call her Usada, so Digiko calls her
that to annoy her) and Digiko starts a grudge against her and the
two pretty much hate each other’s guts! OK, and here’s the VERY
bizarre part, along come the thumbs. The THUMBS? If I shall explain,
the boss of Gamerz as well as all the background people all look
like thumbs with the faces drawn on the nails. Why you ask? Digi
Charat is set in Akihabara, the gaming district of tokyo! What part
of the hand do we use to play games with the most? That’s right, a
thumb! Weird? Totally. Digi Charat is a very insane anime which
makes it cool. (summary by Mew Sugar)

Pita-Ten (Manga/Anime)
Pita-ten's one of those ‘deceiving’ animes such as Digi Charat, I
mean, it LOOKS cute, innocent and perfectly normal. However, it is
really rather spasticated. Our hero is Koutarou, a very studious
fellow who lives in an appartment with his father (His mother died
when he was young). His everyday routines include taking care of
household chores, going to elementary school and spending time with
his friends Koboshi (who's been in love with him for the past 6
years) and Ten (most popular boy in school). One day, when he walks
out his door, Kotarou is greeted by an older girl in an ultra-frilly
dress who shouts happily when she sees him: Please go out with me!"
The girl's name is Misha, who turns out to be his new neighbor.
Misha is not so used to the customs of this world yet - because
she's an angel. She's bent on taking care of Kotarou, and
energetically clings to him everytime she seems him. As if one
supernatural creature is not enough - a softspoken, not-very-evil
demon girl named Shia, ends up moving in with Misha. An angel and a
demon is now living together in the apartment next to Kotarou's. And
with his various more or less troubled classmates, it's getting
difficult for Kotarou to keep up his quiet and ordinary life. (summary by Mew Sugar)
